About this project
A real estate brokerage in the NYC Metropolitan area engaged OkapiCo to consult, on site, in the development of a cold calling center in an effort to bolster the amount of listing inventory. Committing to an initial infrastructure and planning phase investment of $35,000, OkapiCo provided:
- A comprehensive Business and Startup Plan
- Hosted call center infrastructure environment
- Recruiting & Interviews of W-2 hirees (cold callers)
- In-class training, supplemented by a sales training manual created specifically for the brokerage
- Initial ongoing monitoring and coaching of the cold callers
Due to the referral fee and split setup specifically for this program, the company was able to break even after a 6 month period. Total net return on intial spend was close to 100%, and the program continues to be used as a tool to motivate and recruit agents.
